Tiziana Silvetti, PhD in Technological Innovation for Agri-Food and Environmental Sciences, works on the phenotypic and genotypic characterization of pro-technological, spoilage and pathogenic bacteria involved in food production to improve quality, safety and shelf life of food and preserve its biodiversity, and on the evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of different approaches (biological agents, compounds, innovative technologies) to control bacterial contamination.
